AWILDA ASHE Awilda Batista Ashe, 65, of Tanglewood Home for Adults, died, March 5, 2010 at Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was born August 18, 1944 in Puerto Rico , a daughter of the late Juan and Gloria Rivera Batista. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Michelle Batista of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Jennifer Batista; Brooke Batista and Gabriel Batista; one sister, Windy Ashe Wolfe of Port Orange , Fl and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Ms. Ashe's wishes, her body has been cremated .
