Yvonne Cecile Gaines, 34, of Covington died Saturday, February 28, 2015, in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born February 22, 1981, in Alleghany County a daughter of Eugene and Linda McCulley Gaines of Covington. Yvonne was a 1999 graduate of Alleghany High School and was employed as a CNA at the Golden Living Center at Clifton Forge. She was preceded in death by a Brother, Jayson Gaines, in 2012, and also by an infant child. Surviving in addition to her parents are two Daughters, Kira Gaines and Brooklyn Gaines both of Covington; two Sisters, Teresa Spangler and Helena Hubble and her husband, Joe, all of Covington; one Brother, David Gaines, of Blacksburg and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday., March 3, 2015, at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Baker officiating. Following the service the family will receive their friends at Arritt Funeral Home.
