Rachel Elizabeth Brown, 25, of Waynesboro and formerly of Alleghany County, died February 1, 2018, in Waynesboro. She was born January 25, 1993, in Charlottesville, a Daughter of Warren Brown of Fluvanna and the late Vannessa Losh Allison. In addition to her Father, she is survived by a Daughter, Taylor Vanness, of Clifton Forge; Taylor's father, Kevin Vanness, of Clifton Forge; two Brothers, Benjamin Lancaster and his Wife, Skyla, of Deerfield and Joshua Brown and Wendy Curl of Staunton; her Maternal Grandmother, Dorothy Losh and Roger Ralston of Covington; her Paternal Grandmother, Dianne Coffey, of Florida; two nieces, Loretta Lancaster and Lorelie Lancaster; one nephew, Laramie Lancaster; two uncles, Shannon Brown and Carlean Stevens, and Shane and Christy Brown and one aunt, Georgia and Doug Dunkle. In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery. The family will receive their friends for one hour before service time. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
