Celia Weaver Hostetter, 72, of 405 Corner Drive, died, Thursday, January 8, 2009 at her residence. She was born Augsut 3, 1936 in Alleghany County, a daughtr of the late EmbryBuck and Trudie Tucker Weaver. Mrs. hostetter had a love for children and was a child care provider for a number of years. She was an active member of first Christian Church and was a member of the B-About Circle, a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Group Sponsor and a member of the Adult Choir. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hostetter was preceded in death bh two sisters, Virginia Weaver and Dorothy Haynes an one brother, Roy Weaver. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Harold O. Hostetter, Sr. two daughters, Sandy Persinger and her husband, Eddie of Covington and Cindy Hostetter of Covington; one son, Ozzie Hostetter and his wife, Carolyn of Covington; three granddaughters, Melinda Wolfe of Covington, Lucynda Persinger of Roanoke and Grace Hostetter of Covingotn; four grandsons, J.P. Hostetter and Wes Hostetter, both of Richmond; Jayne Persinger and Austin Hostetter, both of Covington; two great grandchildren, Hannh Wolfe and Isaiah Starks of Roanoke; tow aunts, Marie Smith and Pearl Brown, both of Covington and several nieces and nephews.
