Claudine Martin Pritt, of 810 Pocahontas Ave., died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Lewis Gale -Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor. She was born February 14, 1934 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Paul and Maggie Lena Bess Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Pritt, in 1980 and a daughter, Kathy P. Callahan, in 2017. Mrs. Pritt was a former employee of the Omni Homestead in the House Keeping Department. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are three sons, George "Eddie' Pritt, Jr., Jeff "Tucker Man" Pritt; Ricky Pritt and his wife, Bertha, and Elizabeth "Teny" Stuple and her husband, Henry, all of Covington; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Monday February 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sonny Wiseman officiating. The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Callahan, Rovvie Dudley, Cody Pritt, Chris Stuple and Zakery Stuple. The family will receive their friends Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also one hour prior to service time at Arritt Funeral Home on Monday.
