BILLY MARTIN Billy Bob Martin, 54, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, in the Golden Living Center at Clifton Forge. Mr. Martin was born April 28, 1956, in Alleghany County a son of Virgina McDaniel Martin of Covington and the late Peter Paul Martin. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Maggie Vest Martin, his dog PeeWee. He had been employed as a technician with MPW, Inc. in Covington. In addition to his Mother, he is survived by one Brother, Randy Martin and his fianc Melody, of Covington; two Sisters, Shirley Harris and Paula Brady both of Covington; a brother-in-law, Max Humphries, Jr. of Covington; a friend., Jeff Lamb, of Covington and nine nieces, Tonya Humphries, Mikayla Martin, Sierra Martin, Cassandra Martin, Stacy Smith, Katie Smith, Cheyanne Smith, Shelly Simmons and Courtney Simmons; six nephews, David Martin, Josh Martin, Daymon Martin, Michael Harris, Nicholas Humphries and Hunter Humphries and a special friend, Al Harris. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated.
