Moselle Davis, of Scott Hill in Clifton Forge, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in the Brian Center Nursing Home at Low Moor. She was born September 13, 1923, in Roanoke but grew up in Covington and graduated from Covington High School. She had worked at several places in Covington, the last being at the former K-Mart store. She was the daughter of the late Henry ad Ethel Davis. She was the only child. She is survived by several cousins in Roanoke and Franklin County. One cousin, Billy Altice, did most of the visiting and calling to check on her. She had two very, very special friends, Carol Conner, that she worked with and Nancy Salyers, a church member, both true and loyal friends for a very long time. The funeral service will be held at the graveside Friday, July 16, 2021, at 2:00 PM in Alleghany Memorial Park with Billy Altice officiating. Friends wishing to attend the service should assemble at Arritt Funeral Home by 1:30 PM. The family suggests that donations in Moselle's name be made to the South Covington United Methodist Church.
