Tammie Lynn Persinger Hepler, 53, of 1412 Concord St., Selma, died Tuesday morning April 28, 2020, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. Mrs. Hepler was born July 21, 1966, a daughter of the late Carl R. Persinger Jr. and Edith Geraline Persinger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Debbie Dawson and Linda Persinger and a brother, Carlos W. Persinger Sr. Tammie worked as a manufacturer at the Bacova Guild LTD. in Low Moor. She was the neighborhood mother helping all in need, loved company and taking rides around the horn looking for wildlife. She loved racing and gardening, looking at eagles and taking camping trips with her family. Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Jessie Hepler, a son Drewery Hepler and fianc Angel Andrews all of Selma, a sister Sherry Lappeaux and God Daughter, Christina Lappeaux, both of Hot Springs, her little bits, Carla, Winchester, Whitey, Ruby Rose, and Tyson, and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
