REBA CALDWELL Reba Jane Tucker Caldwell, 61, of 2508 Vassar Street in Low Moor died Sunday, December 18, 2011, in the Brian Center Nursing Home at Low Moor. Mrs. Caldwell was born July 11, 1950, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Clara Tucker Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her in their home, Estel Barnes Tucker and Ella Bess Tucker, and by two brothers, Joe Tucker and Cyrus Jack Tucker and four sisters, Mary Tucker, Helen Wright, Samantha Freeman Wright and Myrtle Hepler. Reba had retired as a nurses aide from the former Tanglewood Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Boiling Springs Fire Department and Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her Husband of 41 years, Junior Caldwell of Lowmoor; three Daughters, Cynthia Birt and her husband, Philip, of Mt. Sidney, Reba Nadine Caldwell and Bobby Mines of Lowmoor, and Elizabeth Alberta Liptrap and her husband, Jason, of Covington; nine grandchildren including Ella Caldwell of Hot Springs who was raised in her home; three brothers, Lonnie Ray Tucker and his wife, Patricia, of Richmond, Danny Tucker of Lowmoor and Leonard Tucker of Covington and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be George Caldwell, Eric Caldwell, Philip Birt, Bobby Mines, Dustin Scott, Dwayne Burns and Clint Sizemore.
