Jeanette Myers Rose, 88, of 3915 Dunlap Creek Rd., died, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Regional in Low Moor. Mrs. Rose was born April 9, 1931, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late William and Oma Greenway Myers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde "Jack" Rose, in 2008, a sister Dorothy Jones. She was a seamstress at Halmode Inc. in New Castle. Surviving are a daughter Teresa Urban and husband Eddie, two sons William Jones and Brent Jones and wife Cindy all of Covington, three step daughters Vickie Williams and husband George, Cherly Hayes, and Tracy Barner and husband Rick, three step sons C.J. Rose and wife Leita, Terry Rose and wife Tammy and Timmy Rose and wife Sue, a number of grand and great grandchildren and a sister Bobbie Smith and husband Bobby of Williamsburg and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
