Gary Allen Malone, 64, of Covington, died, Monday, March 5, 2018 at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Medical Center in Harrisonburg. Mr. Malone was born July 30, 1953 in Waynesboro, the son of the late William R. and Pearl Hite Malone. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his companion Ruby C. Cook, a sister Marion Evans. Gary was a purchasing agent of food and beverage for the Great Eastern Resort McGaheysville. He is survived by a daughter Stephanie Malone and her husband Andrew White of San Francisco, CA, two brothers Pat Malone of Covington and Sonny Malone of Roanoke, a sister Margarete Seaman of Keyser, WV and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated. A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
