ADA TINGLER Ada Martin Tingler, 84, of Covington, died, Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor. She was born January 26, 1929 in Paint Bank, a daughter of the late Ray and Viola Bostic Martin. Mrs. Tingler was a care giver in the Covington area for many years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Parker L. Tingler, Sr., in 1996; one sister Frances M. Bell; a brother, Ray Martin, Jr. and three infant siblings. Surviving are her daughter, Dreama Wade and her husband Mike of Covington; her son, Parker L. Tingler, Jr. and his wife, Joy of Covington; three grandchildren, Kim Wade and fianc Jesse Pruet of Oakland, CA; Patrick Wade and his wife Michelle of Naugatuck ,CT and Chris Tingler of Covington; seven great grandchildren, Ashli Tingler; Breanna Tingler and Christopher Tingler; Caleb Wade; Luke Wade; Josiah Wade and Katelynne Wade; two brothers, Douglas Martin and his wife Liz and Jeff Martin and his wife Esther, all of Roanoke and several nieces and nephews. The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.
