Nellie Bailey Baker, 46, of 251 Clydes Run, Eagle Rock, died, Tuesday October 4, 2016 in Covington. She was born June 14, 1970 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Alfred Bailey and Naomi Switzer Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnietta Jean Beverly in January 2016 and a brother, Jumbo Bailey. Surviving are her two daughters, Annie DePriest and her husband Roger and Brittney Forbes, both of Covington; two sons, Johnny "J.J." Childress and William Austin Childress both of Covington; four grandchildren and her fiance, Roy "Dave" Patterson of Eagle Rock. In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Doug Moore officiating. The interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.
