ELSIE WADE Elsie Pierce Wade, 81, of 618 S. Highland Ave, died, Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. She was born May 15, 1930 in Alleghany County a daughter of the late John R. Pierce, Sr. and Lena Bess Pierce. Mrs. Wade had retired from H.O. Canfield Inc. in Iron Gate. She was a long time member of First Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Grant wade in 2010 and also by her daughter, Juanita "Honey" Wade in 192. Surviving are her sister and brother in law, Margaret and Cecil Puckett of Chester. The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.
