Barbara Jean Trout, 51, of 2412 Hot Springs Rd., died, Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital. She was born November 29, 1963 in Indiana, PA, a daughter of Joann Fedor Trout of Covington and the late Norman Russell Trout. Barbara was the former owner of the Picnic Basket in Covington and the Tea Room Restaurant in Clifton Forge. She was very a very talented artist and enjoyed making jewelry, baskets and stained glass. In addition to her mother, Barbara is survived by a sister, Patricia Trout and Russell Allen of Hot Springs; three brothers, Alvin Trout and his wife Kathy of Raphine; Randall Trout and his wife Michelle; Raymond Trout and his wife Jill, all of Lexington; three nieces, Krysta Trout, Kaitie Trout and Madisyn Trout and three nephews, Eli Trout, Daniel Trout and Jacob Trout an a host of friends in Covington and Clifton Forge. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 12:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Harris officiating. The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home.
