JACK HALL Elmer Elwood "Jack Hall, Jr., 67, of 3804 Dunlap Creek Road, died, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1945 in Alleghany County, a son of Violet Whanger Hall of Covington and the late Elmer Elwood Hall Sr. Mr. Hall served his country with the United States Navy. He was Co/Owner of the Hematite Grocery Store for a number of years. Jack was a life member of Dunlap Fire and Rescue Department and he was a member of the Covington Lodge 610, Loyal Order of Moose. Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Ann Johnikin Hall of Covington; his daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Michael Farkas of West Palm Beach, Florida; his son, Dennis Fraley of Covington; three grandsons, one granddaughter; two great granddaughters ; a sister-in-law, Beth Johnikin of Brunswick, MD ; a brother-in-law, Buddy Johnikin of Jefferson, MD ; two special aunts, June Martin and Jean Ross, both of Covington ; a special cousin , Jack Sively of Princeton, WV and a number of nieces and nephews.
