Butch Crizer Raymond "Butch" Crizer, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 7, 2021. He passed away peacefully at home with his devoted wife of 59 years, Wanda, by his side. Mr. Crizer was born April 14, 1943, in Alleghany County a son of the late Raymond Lee and Juanita Hoff Crizer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Thelka Malashevich, a half-sister, Peggy Paxton, two half-brothers Ernie and Dudley Grimes. He attended Christ United Methodist Church. Butch retired from Westvaco after 43 years of service and went on to live a very happy, fulfilling life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening, cooking, and traveling making wonderful memories for all who were blessed to know him. Anyone who knew Butch knows that he was the most loving, selfless, enjoyable, fun PawPaw, daddy, and husband a family could ask for and a most loyal friend. Left to treasure his memories are the love of his life wife Wanda, apple of his eye daughter, Madonna Boyd and husband Gil, joy of his heart granddaughter Kelsey Lieberman and husband Josh, sister Jolonda Pendleton, very special brother and sister-in-law Steve and Teri Robinson, bonus family Calvin and Tracy Crawford and family and lifelong friends Wayne Peery, Kirk Lowry, Carlos Hepler and Larry Craft. He is also survived by son Richard and family along with numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no formal services in keeping with Butch's wishes.
