FRANCES PEARMAN
Margaret Frances Hayse Pearman, 81, of 126 East Gordon Street died Sunday morning, June 6, 2010, in Alleghany Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Pearman was born July 24, 1928, in Covington a daughter of the late Alfred Francis Hayse and Margaret Evelyn Knighton Hayse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul L. Pearman, Sr., in 2003, and a Sister, Betty VanDuzee in 1993.
She had retired from Weaver Brothers Realty Company in Chevy Chase, MD, in 1989. She was a member of Mallow Presbyterian Church where she had been active in the Womens Circle and served as Church Secretary for a number of years. For most of her life she was an avid bingo player.
Surviving are two step daughters, Pauline Nichols and her husband, Harry, and Ellen Pearman and her husband, Ben, all of Covington; a step-son, P.L. Pearman, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Covington; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; her brother, Alfred F. "Jack" Hayse, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Covington; five nieces and nephews, Kay Epperson and her husband, Lyle, of Williamsburg, Douglas VanDuzee of Naples, FL., Denise Reynolds and her husband, Lee; Steve Hayse; and Brenda McAllister and her husband, Brian, all of Covington; several great nieces and great nephews and a number of cousins including Bill and Midge Railey of Covington.
