VIOLET HALL Violet Whanger Hall, 90, of 2912 Kanawha Trail died Wednesday morning, December 19, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge. Mrs. Hall was born July 1, 1922, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Wesley Emmitt Whanger and Lavlet Sively Whanger Morris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Elmer Elwood Hall, in 2004; her Son, Elmer Jack" Hall, Jr. in ;two sisters, Reva Rider in 1986 and Virginia Smith in 2010 and her brother, Wesley Whanger Surviving are two Sisters, June Martin and Jean Ross both of Covington; her Daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Hall of Covington and a number of nieces and nephews. There are many relatives, not only on the Whanger/Morris side , but on the Hall side as well that thought highly of Violet and will miss her. Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park. Memorial Information The family suggests that donations in Mrs. Hall's name be made to Mountain Regional Hospice or to the Gideons International.
