Michael Anthony Brown, 47 of Columbus OH and formerly of Covington, died Saturday August 5, 2017. He was born September 4, 1970 in Covington, to the late James L. Brown and Brenda Retha Jeter Brown. Michael was a graduate of Covington High School. Surviving are his brother James "June Bug" Brown Jr. of Covington two sisters Rohtonda Brown and Monica Brown both of Roanoke, a very special friend Angie Gent of Columbus OH; children that Michael helped raise, Sanasha Aegling , Tangie Gent, and William Beivens all of Columbus Oh and a grandson, William Drake of Columbus. A funeral service will be conducted Friday morning at 11:O0 am at Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, with Elder Pete Moore officiating. Following the service his body will be cremated. The family will receive their friends one hour before service. Arrangements are in trusted to Arritt Funeral Home.
