Michael Edwin Weade, 54, of 2515 Smith Street, died Saturday February 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 1, 1962 at Patrick Air Force Base in Cape Canaveral, FL, a son of Mary Brooks Barber of Covington and the late Malcolm Estil Weade. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Marcella Weade in 2014. He was employed by New River Electrical Corp. as a ground man. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step father, Bill Barber of Covington; his two daughters, Angel Weade and Matt Robertson of Hot Springs and Brandy Campbell and her husband John of Bedford. Six Grandchildren, Kayden Jack, Colten Jack, Chance Jack, Karoline Robertson, Adelynne Campbell and Ian Campbell. His three brothers, Malcolm Weade and his wife Kerry of Covington, Billy Barber and his wife B.J., of Wise Va , and Bobby Barber and his wife Amy of Lillington NC. Three sisters, Marjorie Weade , Mary Beth Weade , and Mandy Arritt and her husband Jonathan all of Covington; and an number of Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 9th 2016 at 6 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Bill Gilliland officiating.
