MARIA GOODWIN Maria Tauber Goodwin, 86, formerly of Hatcher Street in Covingotn, died, Friday, August 7, 2009 at The Woodlands in Clifton Forge. She was born June 28, 1923 in Freystadt, Germany ,a daughter of the late Johann and Theresia Regnat Tauber. Mrs. Goodwin was an employee of the former Halmode, Inc. in Covington for a number of years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goodwin was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Goodwin and s Surviving are her dear friend Betty Reid of Clifton Forge and other friends in Clifton Forge, Covington and relatives in Germany including a brother. In keeping with Mrs. Goodwin's wishes, her body has been cremated. The graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, Augsut 10, 2009 in Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. John Burnham officiating. .
