Ella Lucille Weikel Perry, 84, of Staunton, died Friday, March 6, 2026 at Brookdale Senior Living in Staunton.


She was born June 28, 1941 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Ralph and Lucille Robinson Weikel.


Ella spent her life as a dedicated homemaker, quietly devoting herself to raising her family, maintaining a warm and welcoming home, and offering steady, loving support to those around her day after day. That same gentle, caretaking spirit extended to animals—she had a deep and genuine love for them throughout her life.


Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, Sharn Perry of Staunton; one son, Steven (Terri) Edwards of Chesterfield two daughters, Leah (Tommy) Musselman of Afton and Dana Romanin (Petri) of Stuarts Draft; seven grandchildren, Rachel Edwards, Thomas (Netta) Musselman, Andrew Musselman, David Musselman, Kadri Romanin, Nathaniel Romanin, and Evan  Romanin; one sister, Beverly Johnson of Covington; a niece, Lora (Shannon) Crawford of Covington; one great-niece, Marley Pillow; and one great-nephew, Dakota Crawford.


A funeral service will be held at Arritt Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be made in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.


The family will receive their friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.


Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
