John Franklin Tingler, 30, of 308 Armentrout Road died Saturday, April 18, 2020, at his home. Mr. Tingler was born July 1, 1989, in Roanoke a Son of J. W. Tingler, Jr., of Covington and the late Karen Brennan Tingler. John was a 2007 graduate of Covington High School. He was employed as a small engine service writer at Covington Farm and Fuel in Covington. Surviving in addition to his father are his grandparents, James and Ann Tingler, of Covington; a cousin, Rachel Seymour, of Covington and a special friend, Morgan Sydenstricker of Covington. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. In keeping with the guidelines of the current pandemic crisis, a private funeral service will be hold Sunday April 26, 2020, at the Tingler family property on Armentrout Road. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
