Phillip Justin Meadows, 33, of 5712 Indian Draft Road died Friday, June 9, 2017. Mr. Meadows was born April 2, 1984, in Alleghany County a son of Steve and Leslie Perkins Meadows. He was a decorated war veteran with a number of medals in the United States Army during the Iraq and Kuwait theatres. Justin was an avid outdoorsman and loving father. He attended Greenwood Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Odell Perkins; his Paternal Grandparents, Melvin Thomas Meadows and Martha Meadows and a nephew, Hunter Ryan Meadows. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Fianc', Tammy Heath, of Covington; five children, Alexis Rose Meadows and Zachary Hunter Meadows, both of Colorado Springs, CO; Aidric Aiden Meadows and Zayden Joseph Meadows, both of Hot Springs; and Aryan Loloteya Meadows of Covington; his Ex-wife, Kassie Vette, of Colorado Springs, CO; one Brother, Jared Ryan Meadows, of Big Stone Gap; his Grandmother, Betty Perkins, of Catawba and several aunts, uncles and cousins including Stephanie and Alvis Brookman of Covington. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friend from Noon until service time on Wednesday.
