JANICE PERSINGER Janice Fridley Persinger, 72, of 1202 Summit Drive, died, early this morning at her residence. She was born November 14, 1939 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Johnny and Vergie Kemper Fridley. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Highland Chapel Christian Church. In addition to her parents Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer P.. Persinger in 1996; one sister, Shirley Jones and three brothers, Leonard Fridley , Curtis Ray Fridley and Jimmy Fridley. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Haynes and her husband Danna ; Liz Hoke and her husband Mike and Valerie Smith and her husband Alfred , all of Covington; two sons, Chris Fridley and his wife Peggy of Paint Bank and Junior Persinger and his wife Sissy of Covington; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one sister, Linda Rose of Covington and one brother , John Fridley of Covington. The interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery.
