Charles Leslie "Chick" Bowen, 75, of 5401 Big Ridge Road died Friday, March 16, 2018, at his home. Mr. Bowen was born February 7, 1943, in Alleghany County a son of the late Zella Louise Bowen. In addition to his Mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War with the U. S. Army. He had retired from the maintenance department of KIK International. Surviving are his life partner of 53 years, Sonja Taylor, of Covington; his Son, Charles L. Bowen, and his Wife, Billy, of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Taylor Bowen, Sage Bowen and Sebastian Bowen all of Chesterfield and a number of nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
