EVELYN LEWIS Evelyn Graham Lewis, 58, of 4105 Midland Trail died Friday, June 17, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Lewis was born May 18, 1953, in Covington a daughter of William H. Graham, Sr. of Covington and the late Harriet Griffith Graham Davidson. In addition to her Mother, she was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Bubbie Graham. Evelyn had retired in May of 2010 as a PCA 2 nurse at Alleghany Regional Hospital after 22 years of service as a Registered Nurse. She was a former member of the Clifton Forge Rescue Squad. She was an active member of the ALS Association. Surviving in addition to her Father are two Daughters, Evelyn "Jeannie" Escobar and Kimberly Perez, both of Harrisonburg; one Son, Phillip Thompson, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Covington; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; four sisters, Eloise Webb of Covington; Teresa Commerford and her husband, Jim, of Calimesa,CA;Kitty Davidson of Denver, CO, and April Bowers of Waynesboro; two brothers, William H. "Peanut" Graham, Jr. of Covington and Matt Davidson of Goshen and a number of nieces and nephews.
