Ronnie Lee Andrews, 61, of Bristol, TN, died Friday, March 18, 2016, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a former resident of Covington. Mr. Andrews was born August 13, 1954, in Alleghany County a son of the late Robert and Anna Lee Tingler Andrews. He was a 1973 graduate of Covington High School. He had retired in 2005 from the Covington Food Lion grocery store after 20 years with the company. Surviving are Stephanie Hodges of Bristol, TN; two Sons, Travis Andrews and his Wife, Ashley, of Salem and Daniel Andrews of Maurertown; his grandson, Kamden Andrews, of Salem; his Brother, Mike Andrews and his Wife, Cindy, of Covington; his Sister, Tracy Slater, and her Husband, Teddy, of Vinton; the mother of his children, Cheryl Andrews, of Maurertown and four nieces and nephews, Megan Andrews, Robbie Andrews and his wife, Lyndsay, Corey Slater and Jeremy Slater. In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated. The funeral service will be held Sunday evening at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Williams officiating.
