Sandra Fay Groves Beall, 67, of 1711 W. Jackson St., passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2023, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

Mrs. Beall was born on October 12, 1955, in Cheverly, MD, a daughter of the late John Groves and Bertie Wolfe Groves Burgess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Hall; a sister, Sharon Brookman; and a brother, Johnny Groves; a stepfather, Jim Burgess.

She worked in the office staff department for the Scott Hill Retirement Community as well as a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Beall of Covington; a daughter, Sammie Browning and husband Mike of Covington; two sons, Steven Beall of Tampa, FL. and JC Hall and wife Diana of Gap Mills, WV; fourteen grandchildren, Alex Franson and wife Samantha, Chloe Franson, Kayla Smith and husband Ryan, Montana Hall, Tristan Hall and wife Stacy, James Hall, Jr. and wife Lexi all of Covington, David Hall of Gap Mills, Dalton Hall and Morgan Hoylman both of Covington, Brittany Hoylman of New Castle, Greg Hoylman of Covington, Kristen Shirley and husband Sam of Ronceverte, WV, Scotti Browning and wife Karie and Jason Fisher and wife Jamie Jo all of Covington; a number of Great Grandchildren; four sisters, Susie Meadows of Neola, WV, Ruby May of Covington, Sheila Davis and husband George of Pasadena, MD, and Shelby Florey and husband Tim of Arbutus, MD; a brother JD Burgess and wife Jodi of Covington; two brother and sister in laws, Jack Beall and Amber of Rock Hill, SC and Jim Fischetti and Grace of Laurel, MD; a special friend Mary Ashbee of Pottstown, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday June 17, 2023, at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.

The interment will follow in Johnson Creek ARP Church Cemetery.

The family will receive their friends on Saturday from noon until service time.

The family suggests memorial donations in Mrs. Beall’s name to the American Lung Association at PO Box 756, Osceola, WI 54020-0756.
