Barbara Allyson Andrews, 51, of 908 Hillcrest Drive died Friday, April 5, 2013, in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. 

Ms. Andrews was born September 11, 1961, in Alleghany County a daughter of Hershel and Beth Watson Andrews of Covington. 

She was a Registered Nurse at Lewis Gale-Alleghany Regional Hospital. Allyson was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and was a member of the church choir. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and also by two aunts and two uncles. 

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her Brother and Sister-in-law, Butch and Cricket Andrews of Covington; her Nephew, Patrick Andrews, of Covington; her Niece, Shannon Holloway and her husband, Chris, of Covington; two great nieces, Christen Holloway and Maleah Holloway, both of Covington; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends and her five special cats. 

Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park. 

Pallbearers will be Mitchel Andrews, Larry Andrews, Allen Dressler, Neal Dressler, Gene Lee and Danny Smith. Honorary will be Butterball Dressler.
