James Robert Kitt, 60, of 800 Ridgeway Street in Clifton Forge died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, in Lewis Gale-Alleghany Hospital at LowMoor. Mr. Kitt was born September 19, 1958, in Alleghany County a son of Charlotte Vint Kitt Martin of Clifton Forge and the late Robert Kitt. He was a retired technician with Tinker Mountain Workshop. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving in addition to his Mother are four Sisters, Pauline Rowan and her Husband, Carl, of Eagle Rock; Karen Groves and her Husband, Henry, and Michelle Martin, all of Clifton Forge and Debra Groves of Covington; several nieces and nephews and a special longtime friend, Chris Reynolds. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service is planned for a later date. The family suggests that donations in his name be made to the March of Dimes; 1550 Crystal Drive, Suite 1300; Arlington, VA 22202.
