MARY FRANKLIN Mary Reynolds Franklin, 95, of 6316 Hot Springs Road died Sunday, September 25, 2011, in The Springs Nursing Center at Hot Springs. Mrs. Franklin was born April 27, 1916, at Gap Mills, WV, a daughter of the late Lewis and Annie Kimberlin Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Roy H. Franklin, Sr. in 1970; two Sons, Roy Franklin, Jr. and Carl Franklin; one grandson, Edward "Tinker" Ferrell and also by three sisters and two brothers. Surviving are two Daughters, June Ferrell of Hot Springs and Barbara Lewellen of Southern Pines, NC; one Son, Lewis Carson Franklin of Staunton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one Sister, Linda Harris of Beckley, WV, and a number of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Larry Peters, Cory Peters, Josh Peters, Chris Byer, Andrew Gillian and Lewis "Bo" Franklin. Alternate will be Larry Snedegar. The interment will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery.
