Bonnie Whitehead Ridgewell , 50 , of Clifton Forge, died, November 1, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 25, 1963 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Daryl P. and Sharon K. Davis Whitehead. Bonnie was an active member of the Church of New Beginnings. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Clapton in 1985. Surviving are her daughter, Amber Clapton and Dominque Washington of Clifton Forge; her son, Brandon Ridgewell of Clifton Forge; three grandchildren, Amia Washington; Mikya Washington and Isreal Washington; her sister, Rhonda Nida of Covington and her brother and sister-in-law, Preston and Eva Whitehead of Covington and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2PM at the Goodnews Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Will Bolen officiating. The family will recieve their friends from 1PM until service time.
