Linda Salyers Alfier, 75, of 310 E. Prospect St., died, Friday June 17, 2022, in Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital. Mrs. Alfier was born January 8, 1947, in Bath County a daughter of the late John H. Salyers and Lila Swoop Salyers. She played the piano and choir director for Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church for a number of years. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Stephanie Morganti of North Canton, OH.; three grandchildren, Tyler Burch, Lucas Morganti and Sophia Morganti, and very special friend Warren "Chip" Lockridge. In keeping with her wishes her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.
