Clara Wolfe Smith, 79 , of 516 Bird Farm Road, died, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born January 22, 1936 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Benny and Annie Bess Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd W. Smith in 1990; one great grandson Daniel Owen Taylor, one sister Susie Banker and an infant brother. Clara and Lloyd would have shared their 61 Wedding Anniversary on May 1, 2015 and now they will be together in Heaven. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Smith of Williamsburg and Tracy Wolfe and her husband Stanley of Fernandina Beach, FL; three sons, Lloyd Smith, Jr. of Buena Vista; Danny Smith and his wife Jessie and Steven Smith and Raymona Bowles all of Covington; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Ben Wolfe of Clifton Forge and Floyd Wolfe and his wife, Alta of Covington; several nieces and nephews, including Corinna Banker. In keeping with Mrs. Smith's wishes, her body has be cremated. The service will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 5:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
