GARLAND KIDD Garland Ray Kidd, 48, of 1037 Hattie Street, died, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born December 28, 1962 in Alleghany County, the son of Lois Myers Kidd of Clifton Forge and the late Ernest L. Kidd. Garland was a carpenter and had been employed by Graham Contracting and Wayne Lamb. He was a member of Good News Fellowship Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Deborah Edwards Kidd of Covington ; one son, Dusty Kidd of Fishersville; one daughter, Miriah L. Kidd of Whiteville, NC two step sons, David Easton of Covingotn and Danny Easton of Rice, VA and a granddaughter, Zoey Easton of Covington. In keeping wish his wishes , Garland's body had been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
