Phyllis Carol Wright, 70, of 309 Treetop Dr., died, Wednesday April 27, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wright was born May 25, 1951, in Alleghany County a daughter of Phoebe Tucker Albright and the late Leonard Wright. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Lacy Marcus and a brother Ersel Wright. Surviving in addition to her mother are two daughters Lori Marcus and Janet Walton and Mitchell Curry all of Covington; a son Eric McCoy of Concord, NC; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her father-in-law Joe Albright; two sisters Janice Long of Concord, NC and Barbara Crisp of Oak Island, NC; a brother Leonard W. Wright of Lexington, Havilah L. McCoy of Hot Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Curly Ray officiating. The interment will follow at Lone Star Cemetery. The family will receive their friends from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at Arritt Funeral Home. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.
