MARIE MIOTKE Marie Meadows Miotke, 76, of 415 Royal Avenue died Sunday morning in Alleghany Regional Hospital. Mrs. Miotke was born April 25, 1932, in Covington a daughter of the late William and Daisy Ford Meadows. She was a lifelong member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was devoted to her church and had served for over 30 years as the Missionary President and Treasurer. She was also a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and had served in the church choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Thomas Miotke, in 1993, and also by three sisters, Faye Richmond, Mary Ford and Icey Webb, and two brothers, Willard Meadows and Richard Meadows . Surviving are her Daughter and Son-in-law, Alice and Gene Allard of Covington; her Son, Paul "Butch" Everett of Covington; 4 grandchildren, Teresa Garza of Covington, Hope Elkins of Richmond, Kathleen Fisher of Mechanicsville and Paul Everett, Jr. of Roanoke; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews . The funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Sonny Wiseman officiating. Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Gary Gilpin, Philip Worley, Mike Via, Jr., William Meadows, Daniel Golden and Allen Crawford. Friends may pay their respects at anytime at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends for one hour prior to service time on Wednesday at the church.
