Rita Faye Hylton Goodwin, 63, of Covington, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in Lewis Gale Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was born July 18, 1954, in Charlottesville, VA, a daughter of the late Donald P. and Phyllis Mead Hylton. Surviving are her husband, Joel P. Goodwin, of Covington; her daughter, Nicole Goodwin, of Covington; her son, Chris Goodwin, of Covington and a brother, Richard Hylton, of Washington, DC. In keeping with her wishes her body has been cremated A funeral service will be held at a later date.
