Stephen Andre "Looney" Smith, 58, of 1023 Lincoln Ave., died, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Lewis gale Alleghany in Low Moor. He was born June 12, 1956 in Clifton Forge a son of Gilbert P. and Aletha Sampson Smith of Covington. Mr. Smith retired from the former Alleghany Regional Hospital in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Loooney is survived by a daughter Tamuna Smith and her fianc Chris of Roanoke; two brothers, Gilbert Smith, Jr. of Covington and Barry Smith of Staunton; two sisters, Aurelia Jackson and Jeff Jefferson of Baltimore , MD and Tawanna Smith of Covington; a special friend, Myrtle Robinson of Covington and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts ,uncles and cousins. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Cannon officiating. The interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
