Ronald Andrew Lowen, 75, of 308 Riverview Drive died Thursday, October 18, 2018, in the Brian Center Nursing Home at Low Moor. Mr. Lowen was born August 24, 1943, in Covington a son of the late Oscar A. Lowen and Dorothy Henderson Lowen Crawford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Son, David Andrew Lowen in 1994. He had retired in 2005 from the Coors Brewing Company in Elkton. Surviving are two Sons, Jason Lowen of Covington, VA. and Anthony Lowen and his Wife, Angel, of Covington, GA; his Step-Daughter, Christi Foss, and her Husband, Tom, of Roanoke; his Step Son, Daniel Pillow, and his Wife, Eileen, of Blacksburg; his Sister, Carolyn Blenner, and her Husband, Bob; of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Edith Snedegar officiating. The family will receive their friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time at Arritt Funeral Home and will be receiving friends Saturday evening at the home of Betty Lowen at 218 E. Fudge Street.
