Joshua Curtis Bryant of Ridgely, Md., age 33, passed away on January 5, 2025.
He was born, June 14, 1991, in Portsmouth, and was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Edward and Margie Wolfe of Covington; George Bryant, Sr. of Hot Springs; two uncles, Junebug Wolfe and Bobby Wolfe and his wife Brenda; his aunt Wanda Wolfe Craft and her husband Bucky.
Joshua proudly graduated from North Caroline High School in 2009. After completing high school, he spent several years working as a mechanic for various car dealerships. He was currently employed as an equipment operator at David A. Bramble, Inc. Joshua had a passion for art, hunting, fishing, video games, tattoos, singing and fast cars.
He is survived by his parents, George and Tammy Bryant of Ridgely, MD, two daughters, Brooklyn Bryant of Crumpton, Md. and Skyler Bryant “Hutson” of Maryland. He leaves behind a heartfelt legacy that includes his sister, Amber Bryant and husband Arnulfo Sanchez of Glenwood, MD; his brother, Nathaniel Bryant of Ridgely, MD; two nephews, Javier and Miguel Bryant-Sanchez of Glenn Burnie, MD; one niece, Ariana Bryant-Sanchez of Glenwood, MD; paternal grandparents, Janice and Floyd Smith of Covington; three aunts, Darla Bryant Kupfer and her husband Brian of Florida, Brenda Bryant of Covington, and Sandra Black of Covington; two uncles, James ‘Jamie’ Bryant of Virginia; Sammy Wolfe and wife Mickey of Glenn Burnie, MD along with other family members.
A funeral service will be held in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 12 PM with Rev. Harold Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Lone Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Sammy Wolfe, Raymond Wolfe, Taylor Wolfe, Floyd Smith, Javier Bryant-Sanchez, and Arnulfo Sanchez.
Alternate pallbearers will be: Garland Humphries, Nathaniel Bryant, and Eugene Marshall.
Following the graveside portion of the service, the family will be gathering for a luncheon at the Boiling Springs Firehouse, 5407 Potts Creek Road, Covington.
Arritt Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements for Mr. Bryant.
