Eva Ann Brown Eutsler, 78, of 5916 Johnson Creek Rd., died, Tuesday July 9, 2019 in the Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem. Mrs. Eutsler was born January 5, 1941 in Staunton, Va., the daughter of the late Ralph Brown and Mary Judd Nimmo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert E. Thompson, her second husband Nelson T. Eutsler, and a son Robert K. Thompson. Eva was a former employee of the Sperry Marine as a solderer and most recently as a cashier at the Southland Market. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. She loved watching old action movies and reading mystery books, she was known to be a bit of a collector and loved and cherished her time with her grand and great grandchildren. She loved to take trips and eat out and get dressed up. Surviving are her daughter Toni Church and husband Robert of Covington, her son Eric Thompson and wife Catherine of Smithville, NC, seven grandchildren Lee Church and Sarah of Hot Springs, Michael Church and Brandon Church both of Covington, Jessica Mills of Norfolk, Joshua Thompson and wife Renae of New Orleans, LA, Forest Wilkenson and Skylar Wilkenson, nine great grandchildren, a sister Stephanie E. Garth and husband James of Waynesboro, and two brothers George Nimmo of Albemarle Co. and John Nimmo of Chesapeake and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will have a gathering on Monday July 15, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home. Arritt Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
