Wesley "Sam " Ruble, 60, of 408 E. Kline Street, died, Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Alleghany Regional Hospital. He was born February 19, 1949 in Tazewell County, a son of the late James W. and Elsie Hazelwood Ruble. Sam was retired from Branch Highways . He was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Brae Ruble; two sisters, Judy Hubbard and Ann Carter and one brother Frank Ruble. Surviving are six, children, Wytina Ruble of Clifton Forge; Summer Ruble and Skye Ruble, both of Covington; John Ruble and Walter Ruble, both of North Carolina and David Ruble of Florida; six grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Blankenship and her husband, Johnny of Princeton, WV and Patsy Davis and her husband, Billy Davis of Covington; one brother, James Ruble and his wife Sandy of Princeton, WV ; Care giver, Stefanie Ruble of Covington; several nieces including Brandy Dalarosa of Lancaster, TX and Fran Watts of Richmond, VA and several nephews, including Cory Davis of Hot Springs. The funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at the graveside in Lone Star Cemetery.
