Barbara Fay Wiseman, 70, formerly of Scott Hill and the Woodlands, died, December 31, 2019 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor. Mrs. Wiseman was born September 13, 1949 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Ira Walters and Bess Venters Atkinson Wiseman. She worked as a laborer at Jackson River Enterprise and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While at Scott Hill she attended the Mr. Carmel Church and loved word searches, coloring books and Elvis and country music. Surviving are her two sisters Linda Mayer of Covington and Patricia Henry and husband Joseph of Bel Air, MD, three nieces Victoria Roberts and husband Nick, Rebecca Henry, and Diana Sergent and husband Joe, three nephews Michael Mayer, Tim Mayer and wife Julie, and Matthew Henry and a number of great nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday January 5, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Branch President Ray Lockhart officiating. The family will receive their friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Sunday. Memorial donations in Mrs. Wiseman's name may be made to Jackson River Enterprise INC. at 825 W.
