Lucille Clark Pedigo, 88, 123 Bellegray Lane, died, Monday evening, March 23, 2015 at the Brian Center in Low Moor. She was born April 18, 1926 at Renick in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Floyd L. and Nora McMillion Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Pedigo in 1986 and also by two sisters. Mrs. Pedigo was an employee of the former Industrial Rayon Corp in Covington. She worked for a number of years with the Alleghany County School System as a cafeteria worker at Alleghany High School and Callaghan Elementary School. Mrs. Pedigo also served as cook at Tanglewood Manor. She was a member of First Christian Church and of the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. Surviving are her Daughter, Rebecca Stancil of Clifton Forge; her two Sons, Richard Pedigo of Covington and Robert Pedigo of Simpsonville, SC; seven grandchildren, Chad Stancil and Nathan Stancil, both of Clifton Forge; Joey Pedigo of Leverna, GA; Christy Wise and her husband, Jon, of Talking Rock, GA; Stephanie Patterson and her husband, Scott, of Canton, GA; Jasmine Pedigo and Kaylin Pedigo, both of Leverna, GA; and 7 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. The interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home. The family suggests that donations in Mrs. Pedigo's name be made to the First Christian Church; 231 E. Fudge St; Covington, VA 24426, or to Mountain Regional Hospice, P.O.
