Damian Reece Hiatt, 23, of Clifton Forge, died Monday, February 12, 2018 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 23, 1994 in Delaware, a son of Shawn Hiatt and wife Charlene of California and April Hall Wratz and her husband Matthew of Shakopee, MN. Damian was employed by the Virginia Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fianc Jessica Davis of Clifton Forge; two sons, Kaden Hiatt and Nicholas both of Clifton Forge; his brother Blaine Pettitt of Covington; his sister Rebecca Toon of Bethel Park, PA; Maternal grandparents, Steve and Beverly Hall of Covington; Paternal grandparents, Jon and Jeannie Hiatt of Jasonville, IN; uncles; a number of cousins; also surviving are Kevin Pettitt of Covington; Tony Forbes and Patrick Brown of Covington. . The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Godfrey officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with graveside rites being conducted by the Virginia Army National Guard. Visitation will be held Saturday evening February 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home. Memorial donations in Damian's name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Program, P.O.
