MAXINE HEPLER Hazel Maxine Wilmer Hepler, 92, of 106 Hidden Valley Rd., died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor. She was born July 14, 1919, in Amherst , a daughter of the late Andrew Tilton Wilmer and Laura Victoria Wilmer Wilmer. Mrs. Hepler was previously employed by the former Jane Colby, Inc. in Clifton Forge and was a long time resident of the Alleghany Highlands. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, John Lewis Hepler in 1953; a daughter, Rita Booth in 2002; three sisters, Maggie Cash, Frances Martin and Thelma Hill and six brothers, Bernard Wilmer, Alonza Wilmer, Gorman Wilmer, John Wilmer, William Leslie Wilmer and Jasper Wilmer. Surviving are a son and daughter- in- law, William and Mary Hepler of Dade City, FL; a son - in - law Calvin Booth of Covington; one sister Alma Blackwell of Hartwell, GA; Seven grandchildren, Deborah Rapp of Covington; Michael Troy Booth of Charlottesville; April and Tommy Hutcheson of Covington; Jeffrey and Kelly Manning of Horse Shoe, NC; Angela Miller of Dade City, Fl; Steve Hepler of Melbourne. Fl and Stephanie McCracken of Montgomery, AL.; 15 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
