Dorothy Kemper Wolfe, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Brian Center Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Low Moor. She was born October 10, 1928 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Pius and Sadie Paxton Kemper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David Claude Wolfe in 1976; two brothers, Melvin Kemper and Radford Kemper; one sister Francis Quinn and one niece Carol Blackmon. Surviving are her daughter and son - in-law, Gail and Dennis Harmon of Covington; three grandsons, Robert Harmon and wife of Covington, GA; Tyler Harmon of Detroit and Layne Harmon of Covington, VA; six grandchildren, Madison Harmon of Covington, VA; Jayden Harmon; Ava-Layne Harmon; Lucas Newman and Charity Newman, all of Covington, GA. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 at the graveside in Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Marshall officiating. The family will receive their friends form 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home and at other times at the residence of Gail and Dennis Harmon.
